Features

Fans & Motors

High-powered fans and motors supply optimal airflow through the booth, creating a cleaner environment. GFS designs and supplies each fan based on two- or three-stage exhaust filter requirements.

Safety Features

To ensure the safety of painters and equipment, a manometer and air solenoid valve are included with all Aerospace Parts Booths to maintain an optimal working environment inside the booth. Limit switches come standard on pressurized booths to safely shut down spray guns when the booth doors are open.

Booth Doors

Aerospace Parts Booth doors are designed with durability and flexibility in mind. Doors from GFS are supplied based on customer need, with many options including swing, roll-up, bi-fold or sliding.

AIRFLOW OPTIONS
The simplest, most cost-effective configuration, air flows horizontally through a crossdraft booth, parallel to the floor and over the product. Crossdraft airflow starts at the front of the booth, with air entering the booth through either filtered products doors (non-pressurized booths) or an intake chamber (pressurized booths). Air exits the booth through an exhaust plenum located at the rear of the booth.
Side downdraft booths are an economical solution for shops that aren’t able to install a pit. Air comes into the booth through a full-length, filtered ceiling plenum, and flows downward over the product. When air reaches the floor, it is pulled into floor-level filtered exhaust plenums on both sides of the booth.
The semi-downdraft booth is a hybrid combining features of both crossdraft and downdraft booths. Air is introduced to the booth through the ceiling in the first 25-30 percent of the booth. Then it’s pulled across the working chamber, over the vehicle and into the filtered exhaust chamber at the booth rear.
Generally accepted as the best airflow style, downdraft booths do an excellent job controlling overspray and contamination. Air enters the booth through a full length, filtered ceiling plenum. From there, air flows vertically over the product and into the filtered exhaust pit in the floor.
Lighting options
Aerospace Parts Booths come standard with four-tube, T8, 48 in. inside-access fluorescent light fixtures with twist-style replacement. They are strategically placed and provide excellent brightness for spraying and color matching. Lighting Options One of GFS’ greatest strengths is our ability to provide our customers with highly specialized products. The following options can be added to Aerospace Parts Booths:
Six-tube fluorescent light figures, with T8 ballasts
Four- and six-tube T5 fixtures and lamps provide higher lumen output
Four- or six-tube LED fixtures
Light reflectors can be added behind fluorescent bulbs for increased luminosity
Energy-efficient, true LED fixtures
Control Panels

All GFS control panels are UL-listed and make it easy to manage your booth’s safety features and environment. The control panel for an Aerospace Parts Booth can be customized to suit specific requirements, including programming alarms, supporting spray, flash and cure modes and completing automatic safety checks.

Code Compliance

GFS guarantees that our products meet or exceed all of the applicable codes related to the equipment. Our engineers regularly follow and contribute to the advancement of codes and standards that affect the industries that we work in.
