Our most popular industrial spray booths, Global Finishing Solutions® (GFS) Open Face Paint Booths are flexible, cost-effective solutions for a wide variety of finishing applications. The open-front design saves valuable floor space and makes it easy to move products and parts in and out of the booth. Choose from 260 pre-engineered models with fast shipping or we can custom design an Open Face Booth to meet your specific requirements.
The most cost-effective airflow style, crossdraft airflow offers reliable performance at an affordable price point. Since there is no pit to dig, crossdraft spray booths are also easier to integrate into existing facilities. In Open Face Paint Booths, unfiltered air enters at the front of the booth. From there, air flows horizontally through the booth, flowing over the product and into a filter bank in the booth rear.
GFS Open Face Spray Booths come complete with a full set of 20-by-20-inch GFS Wave exhaust filters. Installing and replacing filters is easy with the grid system; you can avoid waste and save cost by replacing only the filter squares that need changing. An included manometer indicates when filters need to be replaced.
Open Face Paint Booths from Global Finishing Solutions feature integrated four-tube, inside-access fluorescent light fixtures for great visibility of your products and easy tube replacement. GFS light fixtures are Class I, Division 2 ETL/ETL-C listed and come complete with T8 color-corrected tubes.
Fans & Motors
High-powered fans and motors create adequate airflow through the paint booth, creating a cleaner environment for a better paint job. Each Open Face Paint Booth includes a non-sparking, tube axial exhaust fan with belt guards and duct connector ring, and a three-phase, TEFC, tri-voltage motor(s) with variable pitch pulley.
To ensure the safety of painters and equipment, a manometer and air solenoid valve are included with all Open Face Paint Booths to maintain an optimal working environment inside the booth. Manometers monitor overspray buildup on exhaust filters, while air solenoid valves prevent spraying in the booth when fans are off or a door is open.
GFS Open Face Spray Booths are constructed from high-quality, 18-gauge, G90 galvanized sheet steel. Quality components — including precision-punched panels with sturdy nut-and-bolt assembly — confirm longevity, safety and excellent structural integrity.
GFS paint booths can be customized to meet your unique specifications. The following standard options can be added to an Open Face Paint Booth:
White pre-coated panels
Electromechanical control panel
Air proving switch
Six-tube fluorescent light fixtures with T8 ballasts
Additional ceiling lights or light reflectors for greater luminosity
Four- or six-tube LED fixtures
Dirty filter shutdown
Air Make-Up Unit (AMU)
GFS Open Face Paint Booths are designed to meet all applicable International Fire Code and NFPA codes for proper airflow and paint booth use. Our complete engineering staff includes structural, mechanical, electrical and code compliance experts to ensure that you can achieve all necessary permits and stamped drawings for your new paint booth.

While curtains are more affordable than doors and may offer more flexibility for product entry, they do not provide the level of protection from contaminants that is needed for the best possible finish. In this post, we will examine the differences between curtains and filtered doors on an open front paint booth.
