OSSEO, Wis. — Committed to putting the most advanced accelerated curing technology in our customers’ hands, Global Finishing Solutions® (GFS) is excited to announce a new entry-level, budget-friendly model of the REVO Rapid.
The recently released REVO Rapid MC1 fills the gap between the single-cassette REVO Spot and the dual-cassette, dual-sensor REVO Rapid MC2 and OR2 models. Featuring two cassettes with a single set of sensors, the REVO Rapid MC1 provides a more affordable solution for curing filler and coatings on two different vehicles or panels at the same time.
A 9-kw unit with six bulbs, the REVO Rapid MC1 allows for single-phase power without slowing curing times. Even with just one set of sensors to detect temperature and distance for the perfect cure, the REVO Rapid MC1 cures primer more than 20 minutes faster than traditional heat lamps, enabling shops to put through one additional car per day.
The redesigned cassette on the REVO Rapid MC1 allows for better cooling inside the cassette and easier maintenance on the bulbs. The REVO Rapid MC1 features durable controls that are better suited for the hustle and bustle of a body shop and are easy to clean from overspray — with seven preset programs and five customizable programs. Another upgrade for the REVO Rapid MC1: The unit is ETL listed for both the U.S. and Canada.
REVO Systems remain the top-of-the-line accelerated curing products on the market, using short wave electric infrared (IR) technology to provide significant throughput gains, energy cost savings and quality improvements. Capable of reaching any part of a vehicle, the REVO Rapid MC1 is best used in prep areas and GFS’ Closed-Top Open-Front (CTOF) Booths — perfect for smaller, quick repair jobs of one to two panels.
The REVO Rapid MC1 will be on display at GFS Booth #31055 next week at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It is available for purchase by contacting GFS Parts & Filters at parts@globalfinishing.com or 800-848-8738 (option 2).
