A new Aircraft Corrosion Control Facility opened in 2021 on Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. The facility includes a GFS Aircraft Paint Booth that the Corpus Christi Army Depot will use in repairing and maintaining rotary wing aircraft.
Repairing high-end vehicles requires nothing less than the highest-quality finishes, and Robert Gallegos wanted the best equipment he could find for the body shop he co-owns with his brother, Andrew. GFS met their needs in 2018, with three Ultra Paint Booths that are integrated with REVO Accelerated Curing Systems — part of a Side-Load Finishing System to boost productivity and maximize efficiency.
Jetstream Aviation’s paint shop in Kinston, North Carolina, became operational in 2021, with a GFS Aircraft Paint Booth that measures 95 feet wide, 30 feet high and 104 feet deep. An airflow rate of 210,000 CFM, coupled with an air-cooled chiller and heated Air Make-Up Units (AMUs), give Jetstream the ability to complete basic repairs to the most complex ones, in the least amount of time possible.
