Geoff Raifsnider, senior mechanical engineer at Global Finishing Solutions® (GFS), has been appointed chair of the American Society of Safety Professionals’ Z9 Health and Safety Standards for Ventilation Systems committee.
This past school year, GFS collaborated with Alma Center and Osseo-Fairchild School Districts in Wisconsin to form a mentorship program to promote careers in manufacturing and welding. GFS sent some of their experienced welders, Tim Urness and Corey Olson, to mentor local students in their Advanced Welding II class, providing them industry skills and experience beyond the traditional classroom.
When Chris Soule lost his job as an automotive refinish painter during the recession in 2009, he took it as an opportunity to turn his residential and commercial painting side gig into a full-fledged business. Now with a new GFS Enclosed Finishing Paint Booth, Clean Cut Painting continues to increase in quality as their business grows.
As the Ringbrothers continue to grow, their GFS paint booth continues to stand the test of time, and they continuously count on GFS for new technology and advancements, such as REVO Systems, to improve their operation.

In 2002, Scott Griffin opened the doors at Griffin Automotive Design, a family-owned and operated restoration facility. 16 years later, Griffin introduced two new GFS automotive paint booths, as part of the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility. The new facility and equipment is part of Griffin’s commitment to providing the best possible service to all of their restoration and collision repair customers.
