When Dixon Neighbor, general manager of Abra Auto Body & Glass, learned about the technology of Global Finishing Solutions® (GFS) Ultra® Paint Booths, he knew it was time for an upgrade.
Please introduce your business and tell us your story: Junge Automotive Group is a local, family-owned car dealership with three locations in Eastern Iowa. In November 2014, the Junge Group purchased this shop to continue to serve their automotive customers after the purchase of new or used cars. We provide both preventative maintenance and complete service for when unexpected things happen.
What GFS equipment did you purchase and how has it benefited your business? We purchased a drive-thru Ultra XD Paint Booth with AdvanceCure® Blade and a SpaceSaver® heat unit. This is in addition to another paint booth and curtain we already own. With our new GFS paint booth, we are completing around 50 repair orders per week.

How did you decide on GFS equipment? We learned about GFS from a district manager at an Abra franchise meeting in Arizona. I looked at a few other companies first and ultimately went with GFS because we wanted new technology instead of old technology. The technology of GFS Ultra Paint Booths — including the AdvanceCure Blade — provides exceptional airflow, lighting, everything.

What is your plan for the future of your business? With our new automotive paint booth, we strive to get cars back to the customer faster and become more efficient as we go. Instead of having seven cars lined up to go in one paint booth, now we have half that — or less. We are continuously growing, and I have no doubt that our new GFS paint booth will only bolster that.
