EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Eau Claire North High School has partnered with Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) for a new paint booth, giving students a unique environment for hands-on instruction.
The Open Face Paint Booth from GFS is expertly designed and engineered for reliable performance and longevity. The first in the Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD), this paint booth provides Eau Claire North High School students with a safe, efficient environment for painting automotive parts.
“We are grateful for this partnership with Global Finishing Solutions. Our new GFS booth enables our automotive class students to gain real-life experience in a safe, code-compliant environment,” ECASD Superintendent Michael Johnson said.
The opportunity for a new paint booth for Eau Claire North High School presented itself as part of a GFS company initiative to validate product quality. Several models of GFS’ industrial product line were previously installed at the company’s headquarters in Osseo, Wisconsin. The paint booth for Eau Claire North High School underwent thorough testing to ensure optimal airflow and lighting, in addition to meeting quality standards.
“We are proud to partner with Eau Claire North High School to help their students gain valuable real-life experience,” GFS President Jim Faragher said. “Although a large business, GFS’ heart is rooted in small-town, homegrown values. Doing our part to help mold tomorrow’s leaders is what community partnership is all about.”
