OSSEO, Wis. — Shishir Tiwari has been named President of Global Finishing Solutions (GFS), bringing extensive global leadership experience across industrial technology, manufacturing and engineered products businesses.
As President, Tiwari will focus on building upon GFS’ strong foundation and positioning the company for continued growth and long-term success. His priorities include strengthening core operations, expanding market share, growing service and aftermarket revenue, developing a high-performing organization, and advancing strategic initiatives that support long-term growth. Tiwari is also committed to strengthening relationships with GFS’ distributor partners and ensuring GFS remains the industry’s most trusted and innovative finishing solutions provider.
Most recently, Tiwari served as Division Vice President at AMETEK, where he led the company’s global instrumentation, controls and vision systems business, overseeing teams and operations across North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to AMETEK, he was Vice President and General Manager at Wabtec, with full P&L responsibility for its Shuttlewagon business. Earlier in his career, Tiwari held leadership roles at IDEX Corporation, GE Transportation and TVS Motor Company, building broad experience across sales, engineering, strategy, service and manufacturing.
Tiwari holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and engineering degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur.
