Since 2009, Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) has attended the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the world’s premier automotive specialty products trade event. SEMA provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more. Aligning ourselves with the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products proves our dedication to the automotive industry.
With an extensive history in the finishing industry, GFS is experienced at designing and building high-quality paint finishing equipment — from the premium Ultra® Paint Booth line and budget-friendly Performer® Paint Booth line to the innovative REVO Accelerated Curing Systems. In addition to a complete product line, GFS offers services such as shop layout designs, preventative maintenance programs, and painter and technician training to help automotive repair businesses be more productive, efficient and profitable.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane of GFS at SEMA, starting with 2009.
GFS at SEMA – 2009
The first year GFS attended the SEMA Show as an exhibitor, we set up a small, 10-by-10-foot booth inside the Las Vegas Convention Center. We also provided an outdoor paint booth to West Coast Customs — a custom automobile repair shop — for paint demonstrations.

GFS at SEMA – 2010
As a returning exhibitor in 2010, GFS set up an Excel Workstation® to promote the new all-in-one work environment for sanding, priming and limited painting.
GFS at SEMA – 2011
In 2011, GFS customers Jim and Mike Ring from Ringbrothers stopped by the GFS booth, one week before their own GFS paint booth was to be installed at their innovative collision repair center and custom car shop in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
GFS at SEMA – 2012
2012 was a turning point for GFS booth displays at SEMA. In addition to a new indoor booth display, we partnered with DuPont to install a working paint booth outside of the Las Vegas Convention Center. DuPont performed demonstrations of the Dupont Cromax Pro paint system and customers had the chance to paint a test panel in the GFS paint booth. Inside the Convention Center, Ringbrothers debuted the “Grinch,” their first custom car unveiled at SEMA, painted in their GFS paint booth. We also met with Kristen Felder from Collision Hub to talk about how the AdvanceCure® Accelerated Airflow System works to rapidly dry waterborne paints.

GFS at SEMA – 2013
In 2013, GFS welcomed Ringbrothers to our booth to unveil a 1965 Mustang Blizzard. GFS partnered with Axalta NA Refinish and Kaeser Compressors to again offer the outdoor paint booth experience, which was a big hit. Attendees could sign up to suit up and spray in the fully operational GFS paint booth.

GFS at SEMA – 2014
GFS debuted innovative curing technology — REVO Accelerated Curing Systems — in 2014. REVO Systems use short wave, electric infrared curing technology to offer the fastest curing time in the industry for both prep and paint processes. The GFS booth at SEMA featured a REVO Speed, the top-of-the-line, semi-automatic system best suited for body shops that perform large volumes of average repairs on one to four panels. In addition to our indoor booth, we partnered with Axalta again to provide and install a GFS paint booth for “The Axalta Experience,” the outdoor painting demo display.
