decades of experience
Global Finishing Solutions utilizes decades of technical expertise and engineering success to create complex automated finishing systems that reach new levels of production efficiency and energy savings. GFS finishing systems range from simple one- or two-stage to multi-stage pre-treatment washers, dehydration ovens, humidity temperature clean rooms, spray booths, flash tunnels, bake, cure ovens, forced air coolers, conveyors, “Smart” controls, robots, reciprocators, application equipment, and paint storage rooms.
In-house engineering team
Our in-house engineering team — consisting of electrical and mechanical engineers, airflow specialists, structural engineers, and control systems engineers — configures each system to the unique needs of each customer. Providing pre-contract mechanical, electrical, AutoCAD, PLC and programming functions on custom and standard equipment orders, each component is designed to provide maximum productivity, while working in sync with all other components.
Continuous improvement of standard products, development of heat transfer processes, implementation of state-of-the-art controls and materials specifications means that our customers will receive a safe, reliable, quality product.
attention to detail
Precise control and ease-of-use are important factors for any finishing system. Today’s high performance coatings demand exact conditions in order to cure properly for maximum effectiveness. GFS incorporates simple and powerful control systems to minimize operator time and provide optimum consistency in each finished product. From the process being used in the pre-treatment washer, to the temperature of the curing oven, each factor is carefully considered and accounted for. It’s this attention to detail that has made GFS a leading provider of automated finishing solutions.
GFS guarantees that our products meet or exceed all of the applicable codes related to the equipment. Our engineers regularly follow and contribute to the advancement of codes and standards that affect the industries that we work in. One of our engineers currently serves on the NFPA Technical Committee on Finishing Processes, a key standard in the finishing industry.

Whether you are looking to purchase a new paint booth or have a current booth without an air replacement system, it is important to understand how the air that is exhausted from your paint booth is or will be replaced.
To achieve high-quality powder coating finishes, JAS Powder Coating reached out to Dietz Supply Company to supply new finishing equipment for both of their locations. In 2017, the Edgewater location was equipped with a new 40-foot-long pass-through oven and spray booth dust collectors, and in 2018, the Fort Lauderdale location was upgraded with a 34-foot-long Batch Process Oven.
While curtains are more affordable than doors and may offer more flexibility for product entry, they do not provide the level of protection from contaminants that is needed for the best possible finish. In this post, we will examine the differences between curtains and filtered doors on an open front paint booth.
