EnviroTect Water Wash Spray Booths from Global Finishing Solutions® (GFS) perform efficiently with even the most difficult coating materials. Straight-line, non-turbulent airflow through the spray curtain improves paint particle capture and cleaning action, while reducing energy consumption.
The following features come standard on EnviroTect Water Wash Spray Booths:
Construction | EnviroTect Water Wash Spray Booths are constructed with single-skin, 18-gauge, G-90 galvanized steel. Pre-punched booth panels and nut-and-bolt assembly take the guesswork out of installing the booth, in addition to providing more structural integrity. |
Lighting | GFS Water Wash Paint Booths feature integrated four-tube, inside-access light fixtures. All GFS light fixtures are ETL and ETL-C listed and come complete with energy-efficient LED lamps. |
Fans & Motors | EnviroTect Water Wash Paint Booths include a tube axial exhaust fan(s) and a three-phase, TEFC, dual-voltage motor(s) with variable pitch pulley. |
Washer Assembly | EnviroTect Water Wash Paint Booths feature a welded washer assembly, constructed of 12- or 14-gauge galvanized steel. |
Air & Liquid Nozzles | Air and liquid nozzles are spaced according to production and air volume requirements. Nozzles are made of 326 stainless steel and feature 150 GPM and 4 psi. |
Easy Maintenance | Interior surfaces are wetted to eliminate paint overspray buildup, which reduces booth cleaning and captures the paint in the eliminator for removal. |
Air enters the booth through the built-in trough, which provides an initial wetting action on the paint particles. |
Air flows through a restricted flow passage in the booth to form a column of straight-line, non-turbulent airflow. |
With accelerating velocity, air moves through one or more continuous, solid curtains of washing liquid, where contaminant particles in the air are contacted and wetted by the liquid. |
The resulting commingled air and liquid are discharged into an eliminator chamber. This reduces the air velocity and allows the wetted contaminants to drop out of the air stream. |

GFS Water Wash Spray Booths provide an extremely efficient means for removing paint particles from the exhausted air, and are the most acceptable type of paint booth for all health, fire and building codes. Water Wash Booths are ideal when using large quantities of coatings, usually more than five gallons per day per square foot of face area.
