It has been 15 years since husband and wife team, Robert and Jane Dehnel, bought Taylor Body Shop in Merrill, Wisconsin. During the summer of 2017, GFS designed and installed finishing equipment for Marvin Engineering’s Southern California facility. Marvin came to GFS to replace their outdated equipment. With the success of their business and increased production, Marvin recognized that they needed to increase their throughput, eliminate rework, add automation and improve the overall quality of their performance coatings.
Headquartered in Crete, Illinois, Holland LP recently expanded its footprint adding a new 185,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for rail welding equipment, rail and CWR handling and processing equipment, track testing services equipment, and railroad Maintenance-of-Way equipment. Included in their manufacturing facility is a GFS Large Equipment Paint Booth, Cleaning/Prep Room and Industrial Paint Mix Room.
Joe Jones of Dietz Supply Company assisted the Riley brothers in outfitting their new finishing facility with a GFS Open Face Spray Booth for priming, as well as a Prep Room, Large Equipment Spray Booth and Drying Room/Clean Room. In this new facility, all of their finishing equipment is connected to create a nice pushcart workflow through the workshop.

In June 2014, Maxville Truck and Repair started up their new 18-by-16-by-50-foot drive-thru crossdraft Heavy-Duty Truck Paint Booth for the first time. With sandblasting and painting services in-house, there is not much they cannot do. Since the addition of their truck paint booth, they have noticed the ability to rapidly turn trucks over.
To achieve high-quality powder coating finishes, JAS Powder Coating reached out to Dietz Supply Company to supply new finishing equipment for both of their locations. In 2017, the Edgewater location was equipped with a new 40-foot-long pass-through oven and spray booth dust collectors, and in 2018, the Fort Lauderdale location was upgraded with a 34-foot-long Batch Process Oven.
