Integrated into our Sanding & Grinding Booths or sold separately, Dust Collection Modules from Global Finishing Solutions® (GFS) provide a safe, effective means for containing dust produced from sanding and grinding applications. With the help of a direct drive fan and motor, air is pulled into the module and through a cartridge filtration system. Dust is filtered, and clean air is exhausted back into the plant.
GFS Dust Collection Modules are constructed with single-skin, 12-gauge, painted mild steel.
Each Dust Collection Module contains an open louver door design for dust and sanding or spark arrestor door for all grinding applications.
Dust Collection Modules from GFS ship fully assembled and provide heavy-duty, solid construction.
Each GFS Dust Collection Module requires clean filtered dry air, 6 CFM at 80 to 100 psi.
High-Efficiency Cartridge Filtration
Featured in GFS’ Dust Collection Modules, the high-efficiency cartridge filters recirculate clean air back into the facility.
Fans & Motors
GFS Dust Collection Modules include a direct-drive blower and motor.
The following options can be added to a Dust Collection Module:
Deluxe control panel
Obtains 99.9 percent efficiency at 0.3 micron particle size
Meets requirements for safe hexavalent chromium arrestance
Includes a magnahelic gauge for monitoring HEPA filtration performance
GFS guarantees that our products meet or exceed all of the applicable codes related to the equipment. Our engineers regularly follow and contribute to the advancement of codes and standards that affect the industries that we work in. One of our engineers currently serves on the NFPA Technical Committee on Finishing Processes, a key standard in the finishing industry.

Whether you are looking to purchase a new paint booth or have a current booth without an air replacement system, it is important to understand how the air that is exhausted from your paint booth is or will be replaced.
To achieve high-quality powder coating finishes, JAS Powder Coating reached out to Dietz Supply Company to supply new finishing equipment for both of their locations. In 2017, the Edgewater location was equipped with a new 40-foot-long pass-through oven and spray booth dust collectors, and in 2018, the Fort Lauderdale location was upgraded with a 34-foot-long Batch Process Oven.
While curtains are more affordable than doors and may offer more flexibility for product entry, they do not provide the level of protection from contaminants that is needed for the best possible finish. In this post, we will examine the differences between curtains and filtered doors on an open front paint booth.
